Summer holiday offers are about to be released in all countries of the world and people should think of what they want – a summer beach holiday, a weekend trip, a cultural trip etc. The Southern part of Spain is one choice. It is a city in Andalusia which if you did not see it so far, is like you did not see anything from Andalusia – Rhonda is a “Pueblo Blanco” crossed by a deep and narrow gorge of the Guadalevin River.
There are three bridges that cross the Canyon – the Roman Bridge, the Old Bridge or the Arabian Bridge and the New Bridge. All of them are spectacular, but the most spectacular is the New Bridge. This arches over the two abrupt shores. The place almost seems impossible for anyone to live there – nonetheless, there are houses that stay right at the edge of the cliff and one can see one hundred meters down how the waters crawls among the huge, humid and green rocks. In the front one can see just fields and hills – the gorge as abrupt as it is, ends as it starts – all of the sudden and without many preparations.
As a regular traveler you will be amazed of the landscape it offers, the fresh air you breathe and the cactuses that just grow there chaotically from place to place , out of the rocks. A walk on the narrow streets of the old city – El Ciudad, with perfectly white houses, reminds one of the taste of freedom. It is a wonderful place to be while in Andalusia and it will be a kind of refreshing and renewal times for both your soul and body.
