Being a city of extravagance and of luxury, Dubai offers many touristic objectives for those that decide to spend that much on a holiday.
Burj al Arab is one of the touristic sights that one even if does not want to see, it is very sizeable from afar. It is the city’s signature and the first 7 stars hotel in the world. It solely occupies an entire island created just for it and it has luxurious rooms and high class restaurants.
Burj Khalifa is another very tall sight. It is the tallest structure built by human in the world and it has 828 meters high and 160 floors. It is located in an area of Dubai that is characterized by sky scrapers. Its size is impressive and it sure emphasizes it.
The Creek River is a river that goes just through the center of the city, splitting it in half. It is perfect for a boat ride beneath the imposing buildings and other beauties located one side and the other of the shore.
The Jumeirah Mosque is the only mosque that can be visited by the people of other religions here. It is a beautiful building with bright colored walls. If you get here you must abide the rules and adopt a conservative outfit that should cover as much flesh as possible. Women should cover their hair and everyone should take their shoes off on entering.
The golden market is the place where over 300 goldsmiths make the best gold jewels. It is a crowded market but few people can actually buy something from it, as it is rather expensive. It is said that at any hour in day or night, around 10 tons of gold are available to be processed.
