Cerro Tronador is a wonderful place to enjoy a holiday and make some sport as well. Cerro Tronador is a volcanic mountain of over three thousands meters located between Argentina and Chile.
From Bariloche one can take the car to Pampa Linda – right at the bottom of the mountains. From there, one can climb the mountains for 3-4 days till you arrive to Paso de las Nubes. Inside the reservation you can find trekking guided tours, bicycle, riding, alpinism and rafting – all very organized for the people that need to have a more interesting stay.
The camping are big and nature integrated. The respect for the nature is easily seized and the value of respect towards it is highly promoted. Tornador is one of the mountains that has the biggest number of icebergs in the world, 8. As going down this mountain, the landscape is wonderful and the view you see ahead is breathtaking. Anyhow, you must be very attentive to everything around you in order to be safe.
