Everywhere you may go in holiday, the food is something one cannot live without. And this is one of the first impressions that one can make about one place. Just as one can remark easily a spoon of spices in a bowl of food, just as well one can leave one place, with the memories spiced by the goodies one has tasted.
If it were for a world barbeque championship, the Argentinians would win all the tests. Arriving to one can stop at El Bolice de Alberto. Here you can taste big hunks of beef or lamb, with all kinds of sauces – chimichurry and tinto wine. The tinto wine is not something anyone can drink – as it is red and very dry. A usual portion for a dinner has 500 grams of meat.
While the restaurant above is quiet expensive, one should know that there is a parrillada in any neighborhood. In them you can find parrilla, chorizo and chimichurry. While it is a beautiful place where you can eat all you can and more, the problem with the dinner time is that it usually is after 9PM, which is a rather late hour for a dinner that large.
After all that meat you can enjoy a large and homemade chocolate, from the center of Bariloche. There are three chocolate factories with hundreds of chocolate assortments to choose from.
It is situated at the border of the mountains and on the shore of a large lake – the Nahuel Huapi. After a well-deserved meal you can make some outdoor sports – ski, alpinism, rafting, horse riding, kayak, trekking and ice climbing.
