Seven Sisters Land is a place which will offer you Gods, Saints and sacrifices. You can visit the Tripura Sundari Mandir temple, which is destined to the Tripura Sundari Goddess and is located near Udaipur, the former capital of Tripura state.
This temple is among the 51 piths or Shakti Peethas – the most sacred places of the Hindu religion, where the supreme feminine Goddess is adored – Shakti. Near the temple there is a lake which is believed to be Holy – the Kalyansagar Pond; therefore the frogs that are located on it are well taken care of and fed by the pilgrims that come by. Despite of the fact that the lake actually looks clean, one cannot stop thinking of the many bacteria that are in the water.
Before going in the temple you must leave your shoes in one of the nearby shops, from where you must also buy the needing things for entering the temple – a plastic bag containing a small candle, a paper bag with a kind of dust in it and a red box filled with pera. Among these one can add some money as well.
On entering your bag will be taken, the things in it blessed and you can think that you eat some blessed things. When you get to the altar you will be able to give your best thoughts to the Goddess. In India this Goddess is known under many other names such as Lalitha, Bala, Sodashi, Maha Tripurasundari, Sri Chakra, Sri Vidya, Kameshwari.
