If you did not plan your winter holiday yet, there are some Romanian cities where you can spend the holidays. According to your preferences you can choose different cities some more agitated and some more quiet.
Cluj – Napoca is a city from Romania where you can visit many interesting places, there are many sights to see and as well the weather here, during winter time is more ok than in other parts of Romania. It is cold, very cold, but it does not bizzard and the snow does not leave you stuck with your car in the middle of the city. Apart from places to visit one can go out to L’atelier Café – for the art lovers; Flying Circus Pub – where there are nice musicians and cool concerts and for the coffee lovers, one should stop at Flowers Tea House and have a tasty marzipan cappuccino.
Sibiu is also a city close to Cluj – Napoca, but it is smaller than Cluj-Napoca. Here you can start by visiting the famous Christmas Market, the ice skating from the Central Square and have a hot wine while in the city wondering around. The Brukenthal Museum is a must, the Village Museum, the Catholic and the Evangelic Church etc. you can stop by Einstein Café – where you can listen the electro-lounge music, Pardon Café – a very chic place on the citadel street, next to Thalia Hall, the Scottish Pub – a British like bar where a lot of rock music can be listened; etc.
Brasov is one of the most beautiful city in Romania and choosing to spend the holiday during winter time is a good option. Here you will be able to taste the feel of the snow and enjoy it; this if you are a snow lover. You can visit the Black Church, the First Romanian School, the Citadel, and the History Museum. However, you will be mesmerized by the Christmas market and the goodies that one can find here.
