In the south east part of Turkey, the white terraces create a unique landscape, which seems to be a part of the SF stories. What is a pity is that many people heard about it and nowadays it is a wonderful place, full of tourists, far too full for a relaxing holiday. Anyhow, this does not make the landscape less beautiful.
Pamukkale is 660 kilometers away from Istanbul but it sure worth’s the visit. There are many thermal wells here. The reddish water from the thermal well at Pam Hotel has between 58 degrees Celsius and 38 degrees Celsius. This makes it very healthy for the organism and the skin; its properties and the fact that the heat will help you last longer in it.
The water is rich in minerals and the mud helps to treat the diseases, the hypertension and other skin problems. You can have a pedicure at the Dr. Fish Spa and then enjoy it on the beach.
Pamukkale signifies the cotton castle – and before Christ there used to be the Hierapolis city here. One can admire the ruins of the city. You can as well find the Cleopatra Pool, which has very warm and rich in iron water. From 2000 meters high, in the pool you will be able to look closer to the sky and see the green hills, the white terraces below and the greenish waters. In the thermal waters area one should go in without any shoes.
