The zoo from the Palic resort, Serbia, was founded in 1949 and lays on a total surface of 10 hectares. It houses over 65 animal species and 270 species of trees.
This Zoo is considered to be the 3rd in line as far as the dimension concerns from Serbia. You will have to take half of day off in order to visit the entire Zoo and enjoy what it has to offer. The entrance is almost 3 euros and the schedule starts from 9 AM to 7PM. It is useful to have the money changed in the local currency, as they do not really take euros.
Entering it you will feel like you are in a botanical garden not in a zoo, as you will be surprised by the beauty of the pants and floral arrangements. The alleys are beautifully arranged and painted with a white human foot, which you should follow if you want to stay on the track.
There are some info panels in Serbian and English that are located in front of each animal fold. There are many garbage cans in case one needs to throw anything in them. There are special places made for resting, staying to refresh yourself and have a snack.
Moreover there are artificial lakes that are the home of many water lilies. There are many monkeys’ types, elephants, giraffes, swans, camels and bears. Here you will see how well some animals can be taken care of if you are really interested in them. Despite not being free, they really seemed happy.
