Over twenty years distance from the nuclear catastrophe of Chernobyl, some tourism agencies came up with the idea of visiting the former atomic power station, of the reactor that caused the deadly catastrophe and of the nearby location of Pripiat – known as well as the ghost city. Travelling to Chernobyl means as well exposing yourself to radiations. Anyhow the specialists reassure one that for one single day the body will not suffer any radiations but you are not allowed to take any souvenirs from there, as they most surely are radiated. In the Pripiat city there is a place known as the “Devil’s Cercle” where the level of radiations is 100 times bigger than the admitted level.
The fourth place to take into account visiting is the Taktsang Monastery from Buthan. This is a Buddhist Monastery and it is one of the most impressive and exclusive touristic places in the world. It is located at a 3120 meters high altitude in the Himalaya Mountains and was raised centuries ago when a well-known Buddhist teacher decided the place was sacred.
The Huasan Mountain from China is considered one of the most dangerous places in the world. It has five peaks and it makes the mountain look like a flower, this is why it is called the “Flourished Mountain”. The Southern Peak is the most dangerous and tallest – it has 2160 meters. In order to get to top one must climb a 15 meters road, to say at most. You have to be a very good mountain climber to be able to climb this road, as it is more of a climbing than of walking.
Enjoy!
