Located in the Misiones jungle in Argentina, only 50 miles from the world-renowned Iguassu Falls, Yacutinga is an eco-friendly lodge, designed to consider the guests’ needs and the conservation of the environment. Accommodation consists of 20 independent modules dispersed throughout the forest and surrounding the main building from a certain distance. Each module has 4 rooms with exclusive views over the forest which calls for relaxation and harmony in an intimate location. The Suite Yatei is located 150 meters away from the main building and is perfect for couples or for those with an adventurous spirit, each room featuring a woodstove which reminds guests of the early settlers. This room is quite spacious and comfortable, but the mornings can be quite cold during the winter season (June-August).
In decorating the lodge, local materials were used which give a genuine rustic style to the rooms and restaurant. Yacutinga Lodge promotes ecotourism and is conducting different projects to create a general use of their Private Reserve without spoiling the nature. Need not to say that because of the location there are many activities you can do during the day. The Iguassu Falls are the most beautiful in the world and are protected by the Iguassu National Park, becoming a World Heritage Site. There is no excuse to miss the show ‘performed’ by the 275 powerful cascades, nestled in a lush vegetation of the subtropical forest.
