An intimate family owned and operated resort, Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort is located in the middle of the Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia, offering its visitors a true experience to the wild beauty of Canada’s wilderness, either on land, water or by flying with the helicopter, since the resort is not approachable by road. Nimmo Bay Resort comprises of nine spacious, yet very cozy cabins: six intertidal and three stream-sides, all with breathtaking views over the surrounding bay.
The cabins were carefully constructed and designed to blend with the environment and offer the comfort most guests seek for in such an isolate resort. The intertidal cabins have red-peaked roofs, comfortable living area, a washroom and two bedrooms with queen-sized beds. The cabins located near the stream are perfect for family vacations, where you can enjoy the pleasant sounds of the nearby cascading waterfall. Regarding the activities there are more than you can do. From kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking to bear watching, rock climbing, paint ball and fly fishing lessons, your days will be occupied trying to get a taste of an authentic life in the wilderness. You can organize boat picnics and go to a local white shell beach, or enjoy a glass of champagne while watching the sunset on an evening cruise.
