Malaysia is truly a wonderful country. Geographically speaking it is formed of two regions situated at a distance of 650 kilometers one from another – the Malacca half-isle and the northern part of the Borneo island. For those that are not aware, Malaysia is a Muslim country which was rapidly developed from an economical point of view and it is the first palm oil producer. It actually is a federation formed of various states and 2 federal territories.
Despite of the fact that both Qatar and Malaysia are Muslim countries, there is a big difference between the night life in one and in another. In Malaysia one can find a very active night life, with many clubs, lounges, bars, restaurants and less decent outfits.
The climate here is wonderful as it is at all times summer, with short and often rains, normal humidity, absolutely acceptable temperatures. It seems as a terrestrial paradise. The less pleasant part is the fact that any time a lizard can appear in your footsteps and those that are scared of them will probably find this unpleasant.
Some of the touristic attractions that one can see here may be the “Batu Caves” that si located near Kuala Lumpur. They say these caves are 400 million years old and represent a temple sacred to the Murugan Lord, a Hindu Deity. To be able to get to top you should be in a very good shape – one has to climb 272 stairs. Once one gets to the top you can enjoy the chill and see the inhabitants there in their own habitat – the monkeys. The statues here represent deities, paintings, information regarding history and religion as well as a reptile exposition.
Another place one should visit here is the Kuala Selangor monkeys’ reservation. It is pretty far from Kuala Lumpur but one can get there by bus. Once here you should fill your pockets with food to feed the monkeys and ensure that you have nothing in your hand. Also, one should pay attention to the sunglasses and not hold them on the top of your head. Here you will see many rare species of monkeys. They are not violent if you don’t harm them.
The Petronas Towers can as well be visited. Enjoy and see as much as you can from this part of the world. Enjoy!
