Nobody is ready to give up the warm sun of summer but with the months passing by; one gets to be in winter time and finds himself lost in cold. Few are those that simply adore this fairytale season. More are those that look during this period of the year hot places to spend their winter time or at least a part of it during their holiday time. When looking for these kinds of things, one should think that closer you get to the Tropic of Cancer, the warmer it gets.
One first choice one can make are the Canary Islands; when everywhere the weather is getting colder and colder, here you can find with at least 10 degrees more. This is located at the border between Morocco and Western Sahara. It belongs to Spain, being one of other autonomous communities from the European Union. The Canary Islands are made out of thirteen islands, the biggest one being Tenerife. Since the early days, people used to come here during winter time and as well to treat different health conditions they suffered from – such as respiratory problems. If you choose this place as a winter destination, you can get here either by plane or by ferry. Apart from the warm weather there are many other things to see and visit here such as the Loro Parque, the Tenerife Auditorium, and the Big Game Fishing sport to do here.
Second in line is Miami. Who does not dream to get to Miami at least once in a lifetime? This is located in United States, in the Southeastern part of Florida. During winter time it has mild and warm temperatures, depending on the wind and the cold fronts that pass by. As during summer time for those that are not born here, it is absolutely unbearable to come here, winter time is the perfect period to visit it. Apart from the very agitated night life that one will find here, the Cuban emigrants, the fashion lounges, at less than 18 kilometers away on Key Biscayne Island there is Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. Here you will be pleased to see a view of uncontaminated beaches and crystalline waters. Another objective can be Everglades. These are known as the swamps from Miami.
Luxor is up to one’s desires as far as the climate concerns. It is located in the upper part of Egypt and it is believed to be “world’s greatest open air museum”. Due to the many monuments and temples it is a place that is very crowded with tourists all year long. During winter time, with a temperature that does not exceeds 30 degrees and does not go lower than 12 degrees, it is an ideal place to visit the wonders of the Thebes, Karnack, Ramses and the archeological sites from the Valley of the Kings.
